Trenton Falls campout at West Canada Creek came off great this year with a few new people joining in the fun. It was a little cool Friday night but Saturday was much better. We did a a typical Saturday night community campfire passing around pistachio and almond nuts with delicious cookie cake later. On Saturday afternoon some folks went up to Trenton Falls to check it out this year. Unfortunately, due to the early snow melt, there wasn't as much water going over the falls as last year. But, it is always fun to walk the trail and look down in the deep gorge and find fossils, which is easy to do. And we would like to thank the folks at West Canada Creek campground who were very friendly to our VW gathering. We all hope this will turn into a yearly event, perhaps expanding it to a Saturday tour of the West End Brewing Company, home of Utica Club and Saranac beers.
