Photo Gallery - "Gallery Remote" a upload feature

Gallery 2 has a lot of neat features... here is one.

In addition to the standard way of uploading photos on the web site, there is a little program called "gallery remote" which, if you install and configure correctly, can make mass uploading photos VERY easy and quick. Here is how you get and install the program.

Login to the photo gallery
Go to one of your albums
Click on "add items" (As if you were going to upload photos)
Look carefully on the tabbed items. Click on the one that says "Gallery Remote"
You will see 2 choices. I chose Run Gallery Remote immediately using Java Webstart
Let the Java install program do what has to do.

You may get a popup saying a newer version is available, just ignore it and close that window.

If all goes well it should connect to the gallery. On the upper left hand side you can choose what album you want to upload to. And on the lower left hand side click on "add pictures". It is now looking at your computer. Choose what you want to upload.
On the lower right hand side click on "upload pictures" and the the process should begin.
